But once we can go to print (Audible’s gonna hold the rights on them for two years, and then we get to go to his press, Delacorte), that’s when it’ll be released as Book Four. They have kind of a demanding schedule for these three novellas, but it’ll be shorter books for Audible. Sanderson has stated before that The Reckoners isn’t part of the Cosmere that Stormlight Archive, Mistborn, and other books take place within, but that doesn’t preclude Sanderson from expanding the universe he’s begun with The Reckoners series. Steelheart takes David’s gun, and is intent on shooting him with it, but shortly before allowing Steelheart to take the gun, David figured out that Steelheart’s weakness is that he can only be killed by someone who does not fear him, and has rigged the gun to trigger an explosive. But it’s later revealed that Megan is indeed an Epic as David discovers her very much alive and walking. However, during an attack, she dies, much to the dismay of The Reckoners. In the book Steelheart, she is working with the Reckoners to bring down Steelheart.
